![]() ![]() ![]() Early versions of Windows used the IBM standard. The IBM Common User Access (CUA) standard also uses combinations of the Insert, Del, Shift and Control keys. There are many category sub-folders under most of the left-side primary entries, which themselves have further sub-folders, etc., etc. The standard shortcuts are: Control-Z (or Command + Z) to undo. Here’s an example of the main page in my usage. There are probably keys floating around on the net for those so inclined. ![]() Click in the field or area where you want to paste the text. Press the 'Ctrl' and 'C' keys at the same time - indicated by 'Ctrl-C' - to copy your selection. Given that it is no longer supported, I am unsure what will happen after 30 days. Click and hold your cursor at the beginning of the text you want to copy, drag your mouse to the end of the text and then release the mouse button to select the text. You can go to to download the program for a 30 day eval. I wish someone would copy this UI, which is so easy to use because I know that the program is eventually going to die for good. It has much functionality most of which I don’t really use.īesides the hierarchical org, one item really important to me is the ability to easily capture articles/items WITH THE SOURCE URL so that I can always go back to the original source or provide the source if I am sharing the info with anyone. I effectively use the program as a database with over 40MB of data stored. I’ve looked at a large variety of clipboard functionality programs over the years, always hoping to find something that would be substantially similar to Clipmate but have yet to find anything. It was shareware and I originally paid $35 for it. For the last 15 years or so, I use an old, clipboard program (now unsupported and last updated in 2013) that still works fine on Win10 called Clipmate. ![]()
